Our Story
DS Imports' story begins with its founder in 1985, when he was in school with a vision of building an export business in India. He started with 100% hand-spun and hand-woven cotton fabric known as "Khadi" and built a made-ups business exporting to Japan, the UK, and France. Khadi production is carried out by small weavers using hand-spun and hand-woven technology, and for printing, vegetable dyes and hand blocks are used. From the very beginning, the founder was committed to reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact. Now, in the USA, we import packaging products primarily made of recycled paper with various coatings to reduce environmental impact, supplying compostable and sustainable products to our customers according to their needs.
